For the first time ever you can own this show-stopper, a replica of the choker worn by actress Chloe Webb in her portrayal of Nancy Spungen during the 1986 film Sid & Nancy.
This choker is extremely wide, measuring 2 3/8" wide, (or 6 cm). Be sure you have enough neck room to wear it. There are eleven individual strands of chain which become incrementally shorter towards the sides, linked into professionally set eyelets. Three rows of 1/2" large pyramid studs fill in upper part of the choker. It is clasped with a 1" center-bar buckle. Buckle and chain are both solid brass with nickel plating. The choker weighs over 1lb, mostly because of the chain.
If you're not familiar with Nancy, in the late 1970s she dated Sid Vicious, the bassist for the Sex Pistols up until her death. Sid was charged with murder, bailed out of jail and died from drug overdose four months later before he could go to trial. The film depicts her death as an accidental stabbing. Nancy was known to be a junkie, a sex worker, and prone to uncontrollable outbursts.
